The Ward of Clett, Whalsay

It was a windy cold day today when I took the ferry over to Whalsay to look in to a path issue and do some way marking. It was a beautiful day too though.

On my way up the Ward of Clett and looking back over Symbister...

And from the dizzying heights of the summit, all 119m of it!

Looking south over Brei Wick, one of my destinations...

There were some quite impressive waves rolling in in Brei Wick....

I'd never been here before and the path continues along the coast to the Ward of Hevdafield, but with a camera on loan and sleety rain coming in it wasn't coming out to play any more. I'll be back though and get photos at the end as there's a couple of stiles needed out there.
